Terms of Service

01What you are buying

Voltix is software you run yourself, on your own server and database. You buy a license to use it. You do not buy ownership of the code, the name or the artwork.

A standard license lets one person or organization run one installation for their own Discord servers, up to the number of servers on the plan you bought. Add-ons (for example the dashboard or a larger server pack) extend the same license.

02What you may and may not do

• Do use it on the servers covered by your plan, and change settings freely.
• Do not resell, share, leak or publicly post the files or your license key.
• Do not remove, bypass or tamper with the license check, or use a key that is not yours.
• Do not run it as a hosted service for other people unless we agreed in writing.
• Do not copy our branding to suggest your product is ours.

03Purchases and delivery

Purchases are made on BuiltByBit. Payment, taxes, invoices and receipts are handled by BuiltByBit under its own terms. Your license key is delivered with your download and is linked to your BuiltByBit account.

04License checks

To work, the bot contacts our license service when it starts and from time to time. It sends the license key, a random installation ID and the version number. If the service is briefly unreachable, the bot keeps working for a limited grace period.

We may revoke a license that was refunded, charged back, shared, resold or used against these terms. A revoked license stops working at its next check.

05Your responsibilities

You run the bot, so you are responsible for how it is used in your servers. That includes following Discord’s Terms of Service and Developer Policy, the laws that apply to you, and the privacy of your members. Voltix includes tools for this (retention settings, data export and erasure); using them correctly is up to you.

06Updates and support

We aim to keep Voltix working with Discord and to fix problems we are told about, but we cannot promise a particular response time or that it will always be available. Features can change, and Discord can change its platform in ways that affect the bot.

07No warranty and limits of liability

Voltix is provided “as is”. We do not promise it will be error free or suit a particular purpose. Moderation and security tools reduce risk but cannot stop every abuse, so keep your own backups and watch your server.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits, or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

08Ending these terms

You can stop using Voltix at any time. We can end your license if you break these terms. When a license ends you must stop using the software.

09Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Using Voltix after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws that apply where the seller is based, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.
